The short version, at length

Accentric is a free accent-training app. There is no account, nothing to pay for, and nothing you record leaves your device. Use it, and these terms apply. Do not use it, and they do not.
What Accentric is
A practice tool. It records single words, measures the resonant frequencies of the vowel in each one, and tells you how far that sits from a target expressed in terms of your own voice.
It is not speech therapy, a clinical assessment, or a qualification. If you have a concern about your speech or hearing, see a professional — this app has no opinion on anything medical and is not built to.
What the scores mean, and do not mean
A score is a measurement of vowel formants, not a judgement by a listener. The app measures vowels; it does not yet measure stress, rhythm or intonation, which is most of what a person actually hears as an accent. A high score does not mean you will be taken for a native speaker, and a low one does not mean you were unintelligible.
Measurement quality depends on your microphone, the room, and your calibration. Treat the numbers as feedback on a specific exercise, not as a verdict.
Your recordings, your progress
Your voice is yours. Recordings are analysed on your device and discarded; nothing is uploaded, so there is nothing for anyone to claim rights over. Your progress is stored on your device alone — which also means it is yours to lose. Deleting the app deletes it, and there is no copy anywhere to restore from.

Using the app
You may use Accentric for personal, non-commercial learning. Please do not decompile it, redistribute it, or present its output as a professional assessment of anyone’s speech.
The app is distributed through the App Store, so Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to it as well. Where these terms and Apple’s disagree, Apple’s govern the licence.
Accent, and the point of it
An accent is a skill you add, not a defect you remove. Accentric has no view about how anybody ought to speak, and nothing in it should be read as suggesting one accent is better than another. It exists to help people produce a specific accent on purpose — for a role, for a place they have moved to, for their own reasons.
No warranty
Accentric is provided as it is, free, with no guarantee that it will be accurate, uninterrupted, or suited to any particular purpose. To the fullest extent the law allows, it comes without warranties of any kind.
Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, the maker of Accentric is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of it — including lost progress, lost time, or any decision taken on the strength of a score. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes
These terms may change as the app does. The date at the top is the last time they did. Continuing to use the app after a change means the new version applies.

These terms have not been reviewed by a lawyer. They also do not name a governing jurisdiction, because that depends on where the app is published from — it needs filling in before submission rather than guessing at.
